  • Since 2000, Inverness Farmers' Market has been bringing the finest local produce to the city.

Situated at the Eastgate end of the High Street, it is easy to find and close to parking.

In addition to delicious foods, from bread and patisserie to seafood and meat, cheeses and home made preserves, there is also a number of craft stalls offering beauty products, jewellery and so on, as well as local nurseries supplying locally grown plants.

Shopping at your local farmers' market offers you the opportunity to meet the person who made or grew the produce, enabling you to ask questions about its provenance and production.

Four times a year the market goes to Nairn, just off the A96 in the old community centre car park.
